I am a 32 yr old mom who has been a gamer since the age of 5. I remember my
grandfather fixing an old Atari and I tested it out and from there I started to enjoy
gaming. My mother bought me a Nintendo Entertainment System and was only
allowed to play after school and after my homework and chores were done, so I had
my homework and chores done in a jiffy.
Then better consoles started coming out and I had to get my hands on them and play them.
Even now after growing up and being a mom, I still put in time for playing games while I do my
other personal things. I like to learn a lot of things and I also self teach myself new things. I not
only play games but I am also an amateur 3D modeler and an artist. I self taught myself 3D
modeling and never went to school for it, I guess I started because I wanted to design a game but
first had to learn the basics of what goes into it.
I wanted to create a personal website since 2006 with all my YouTube videos of gaming and
3D modeling but never had time in the past. Now I have some time to do it and I want everyone to
enjoy what they see and if any help is needed or need questions answered about my gaming
videos and tutorials do not hesitate to comment on them and I will see what I can do.

My mother had a friend that use to lend us her sons games, and we tried to beat as much as
we could. I remember the second one I beat was Ninja Gaiden, then came Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles, Castlevania, etc. I couldn't stop. Then I forgot about gaming after we went to stay with our
grandparents for a while in Puerto Rico.
As soon as we came to be with our mother, we found out about the Super NES, and begged her
for that one too. Then came the newer consoles Gameboy, Sega Genesis, Saturn, Nintendo 64,
Dreamcast, Playstation, Gamecube, Xbox etc, (sorry if I forget a few, I have played them all). Of
course we couldn't play all the game software in the library, but my mom got her hands on some
nice titles (everything action).
It's 2012, I am 33 years old and still gaming. I own, the Playstation 3, Wii, and the Xbox 360. I
don't believe I will ever stop gaming.... I might stop for like a week or 2 but never stop gaming
completely until I go blind, or my hands can't hold a control anymore. Trying to get my daughter into
gaming, and hoping she gets as good as I am.
Hi there, I am gaming mom JoJoStarFire, I have been gaming since I was 5 and
the Atari 2600 started it all, (I believe it was my father's). I was 5 back then so I
didn't really know what it was; the only thing I knew was to get rid of the monsters
on the screen. I was very limited in playing the Atari, due to my grandparents
restrictions half the time. My true love for gaming came when I was around 8,
when my mother bought my twin and I our first NES (Nintendo Entertainment
System). I remember feeling pride as I sent Bowser into the pit of fire after being
tricked 7 times before XD.
